And Britney Takes the Lead :-)

Okay ... I think I've decided on a couple of wigs after endless emails, messages, and posts! Thanks for your help guys :-)

The most popular were .....

#5 (Britney) and #2 (from Ebay) for blonde ones

#1 (brown from Ebay) for a fun/ different one

I think I'm going to go with #5 for the blonde, because it is a monofilament wig, which means it has a special cap designed for comfort and natural look. The cap is nearly transparent, which means the scalp almost exactly matches the natural scalp colour. Also, the cap material is soft and made for comfort. Each piece of hair is sewn in by hand too, so that the wig is easier to style and flows and moves naturally. So #5 it is.

Thanks again everyone! Time to order ... I'll be sure to post pics when I finally recieve them!

Hey Mel ... I've been reading your webpage almost daily ... your strength and courage is remarkable - you are truly an inspiration! I was home on the weekend but missed you - hope you enjoyed your trip to Halfax. I'm sorry I didn't get to see you and tell you this in person.

Re Wigs ... for blonde: Lola and Bebe; for the second, I like the long red one, and I did see a pink wig that was fun.

I am thinking about you and will see you at Christmas.

Hi Mel. Just wanted to say that I read your blog and am blown away by your strength and courage. I commend you on documenting your journey.

I have a friend who works with many cancer patients. She is a cosmetic/hair specialist. You may want to visit her website: www.advancedhairsolutions.com. She also wrote a beautifully inspiring book called Grant Me My Final Wish.

I am sending you lots of white and healing pink light, and wishing you a very happy Thanksgiving!

Hugs,
